Despite the aliveness, we seem to be buried under a pile of graduate school, a Real Life Job, and, you know, trying to remain happily married and happily friends with the important people in our lives. My sister is getting married in a couple of months, which is Very Exciting and also somewhat time consuming (though of course less for me than for her).
Throughout my various adventures, I come up with all sorts of things to tell you and all sorts of clever ways to say them. And then I return home and find that I have to write a paper or read a book or experiment on my dog. At least the ideas are there?
this is where I often find myself inspired with things to tell you... alas far from any sort of device or willingness to use such a device
I’m here now because last week I received an email that my domain name had expired. I started this blog over three years ago, and I started this domain two years ago – I couldn’t just let it go, but it’s also not worth the price if I don’t actually show up for a little bit of this here blogging. So here I am! And I hope to come back a little more often this year. My mother will be pleased.

First, thanks for the cute video! Too funny! Second, it is good to know you are still out there, busy as ever, but still thinking about your blog readers! I keep checking in to see if you have posted anything new – I can’t complain, since I too seem to post to my blog in fits & spurts, often going weeks (or even months) between posts. Is there any way to subscribe to your blog so that I would get an email when you do post? That way, I don’t have to check back, hoping I haven’t missed anything. If I hadn’t thought to check today, I might have missed that amazingly funny video!

My lovely pit bull mix has entered his Adolescent Asshole phase, so videos of adorable puppies are an excellent reminder of what he used to be like. Especially when, like this one, they also incorporate well-behaved older dogs. Dare to dream.
